Graphic Design · Color · Production
Krzysztof Skowron — Graphic Designer | QC Specialist. I combine graphic design, color management, and increasingly AI, so UV printing stays consistent and the team's work gets simpler.
What I do
From the decor concept, through color control on the production line, to AI tools that speed up the team's work — a short overview below, scrollable with the arrows.
From the decor pattern to a finished website — the full design chain.
Wood, stone, and concrete patterns — printed structure (not embossed), synchronized with the original scan.
Production file layout, bleed, separations, and resolution control for a specific print line.
Building and maintaining websites and online stores — from concept to launch.
Designing with product form and function in mind — not just how it looks on screen.
Marketing support, video editing, and product photography — presenting the finished decor to the client.
Product card/label design — information hierarchy, markings, and visual series identification.
Design and implementation of a website for a local practice — friendly look, clear offer and contact.
Same decor, same color — regardless of machine, shift, or production batch.
Monitor calibration and building ICC profiles as the starting point for consistent color work.
RIP configuration for a specific machine and substrate — Hymmen, Durst Rho, and other lines.
Verifying samples against a reference standard and approving color before production runs.
Shift-start procedures and monitoring of color drift between machines and batches.
Tools that take repetitive manual work off the production team's hands.
A production panel for graphic files — version history, color corrections, duplicate-name detection.
Scripts and automations that remove manual, repetitive steps in preparing graphics for print.
AI support for organizing production data, detecting anomalies, and working with large file sets.
Lightweight, standalone web tools tailored to a specific team process — without the overhead of big systems.
A separate project: scripts and automations that speed up repetitive operations on graphic files.

About
Behind the design and production of DecorSynchro decors is years of hands-on experience in applied graphics and prepress — gained both in the design studio and directly on the production floor.
Color control is the foundation of a consistent decor collection — from monitor calibration and ICC profiles, through RIP settings for UV printers, to verifying samples against a reference standard (Delta E). This way, the same decor looks identical regardless of production batch, machine, or shift.
Building a pattern starts with scanning a properly prepared original board — producing a graphic file and a structure file, which I then process and fit to format. The structure is synchronized, meaning fully aligned with the original scan. Add to that retouching and correction of natural-material scans — that's how every collection is born before it goes to test printing.
Knowledge of both modern digital printing techniques and work on older machines makes it possible to prepare production files accurately — bleed, separations, resolution control — with a specific production line in mind. Add to that post-production and print finishing, the final stage that determines the quality of the finished panel.
Add to that marketing support, websites and online stores, as well as video editing and product photography — the full chain: from the decor idea, through production, to its presentation to the client.
